You can also use paradigm exercises for cross-translations in pairs: when the exercise is done in writing (most likely at home) and checked the class is divided into pairs, one student says any ten sentences from the exercise in the mother tongue (in a random order) , the other translates into English orally. For weaker students oral extra paradigm-training with 2-3 sentences can be done (instead of random interpreting).
