These are some cards to tell 'My house' stories. The results look like this: I am from Australia. My house is in Sidney. It is big and nice. It has got 2 floors. I has got a living room, a family room, a kitchen and a bathroom downstairs. It has got 2 bedrooms, a sitting room and 2 bathrooms upstairs. My house has got 13 windows and 8 doors. (There are some words unfamiliar for students on the design, encourage them to filter the information and omit what they don't need). You can also make interviews: everybody asks for information about the house from 4 other students and makes notes. Then they write about 2 houses of those as a hometask. example:
